October 25th, 2018 2:30-3:30 pm Families living with FASD know that everyone with prenatal alcohol exposure has a different experience. While part of this variation depends on when or how much exposure occurred during pregnancy, some of the variation is explained by a person’s genetics. Join Dr. Tatiana Foroud of Indiana University as she discusses what is currently known about genes and prenatal alcohol exposure. Dr. Foroud will also discuss how her new study will add to our knowledge about the genetics of FASD variation and possibly lead to improved FASD treatments, interventions, and outcomes for families living with FASD.
